Educated Girls
On 3rd January, the birth anniversary of India’s first woman teacher Kranti Jyoti Savitribai Phule, “Aashaa Foundation Charitable Trust” was established in 2024 to empower girls through education, skill development, and confidence building.
Starting from a small village school, by 2025 we have reached over 50 educational institutions across Satara district, working in more than 300 schools and supporting over 3,000 girls through various programs.

Asha Foundation Charitable Trust wants to reach 200,000 girl students in Maharashtra by 3 January 2031. We want to bring a positive change in their lives and help build a better society.
Our Initiatives through Aashaa Foundation Charitable Trust
Born in Lonand, Satara district, Mr. Dattatray Jagtap prioritized education since childhood.
After losing both parents at a young age, he was raised by his grandmother and aunt.
Through perseverance and determination, he completed his MBA despite hardships.
Mrs. Rupali Jagtap, wife of Mr. Dattatray Jagtap, has been a strong pillar of support, managing family responsibilities while overcoming challenges in business life.
She ensured stability and strength within the family, allowing the foundation’s mission to grow steadily.
श्री. दत्तात्रय जगताप यांचा जन्म सातारा जिल्ह्यातील लोणंद येथील. लहानपणापासून शिक्षणाला प्राधान्य देऊन शालेय शिक्षण गावांमध्ये पूर्ण करून उच्च शिक्षणासाठी पुण्यामध्ये आले. लहानपणीच आई-वडिलांचे छत्र हरवल्यामुळे त्यांचा सांभाळ आजी व मावशी ने केला अनेक अडचणींना सामोरे जात खडतर प्रवासातून मोठ्या जिद्दीने त्यांनी एमबीए शिक्षण पूर्ण केले.
सौ. रूपाली जगताप यांचा विवाह श्री. दत्तात्रय जगताप यांच्याशी झाला. आयुष्यातील अर्धांगिनी होऊन त्यांनी घरची जबाबदारी उत्तमरीत्या पार पाडली. व्यवसायात येणाऱ्या अनेक अडचणीवर मात करत असताना सौ. रूपाली जगताप यांनी घर गाडा व्यवस्थित हाकला. घरात कोणतीही अडचण येणार नाही याची संपूर्ण काळजी घेतली. त्या स्वतः प्रत्यक्ष व अप्रत्यक्षरित्या व्यवसायात ही कार्यरत असून
“Asha Foundation Charitable Trust was started on 3 January 2023 by Mr. Dattatray Jagtap on the birth anniversary of Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule.
The main purpose of this foundation is to support underprivileged girls by giving them education and mental, physical, and social support, so they can become independent.
The foundation first began its work in Lonand village in Satara district.
By 2025, it has supported more than 3,000 girls in over 300 schools and in more than 50 educational institutions across Satara district.
